Per Governor DeWine’s orders we are NOT PERMITTED TO HAVE A PARADE because of COVID-19 restrictions. However, we can have a Reverse Christmas Drive Thru.
What is a Reverse Christmas Drive thru you might ask? Well, it’s where the floats stay stationary and people drive thru in their cars to see the floats. Similar to Ashtabula County’s Lights on the Lake.
No candy will be distributed during the event.
Due to Covid restrictions we are only able to make this happen by following the CDC and the City of Ashtabula Health Department guidelines.
What does that look like? The only people downtown will be on the floats. No other pedestrian traffic will be allowed on Main Avenue during the event. To participate, you must stay in your car while driving down Main Avenue. You must come in off of Rt. 84 /Bunker Hill and drive north down Main Avenue and exit at Tannery Hill, Lake Avenue or Rt. 20.
NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO WALK DOWN MAIN AVENUE DURING THIS EVENT. DUE TO SAFETY MEASURES YOU CAN ONLY SEE IT FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR CAR AS YOU DRIVE DOWN MAIN AVENUE.
