Author Expo 2016

October 1, 2016, 1:30-3:30 pm

What do mysteries, children’s stories, Cleveland sports, Amish romances, historical fiction, fantasy, spicy romances, nonfiction, and paranormal books all have in common?

Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., nearly twenty Ohio authors of these genres and more will be on hand to speak with their fans on a one-to-one-basis at the Ashtabula Library’s first Author Expo. Authors will also have books available to purchase and autograph.

We will host special discussions at Noon and 1:00pm.

Take it to the Curb- Downtown Ashtabula Clean-Up

Saturday, May 14 2016, 9:00 am-1:00 pm

Join us as we get Downtown Ashtabula ready for the upcoming season!  Please meet in front of the Ashtabula Chamber of Commerce.  We will be cleaning both parks including weeding flower beds, plus cleaning the sidewalks and pciking up trash.  We ask that you bring your own brooms, rakes, and gloves.  Contact Tonja Amato 440-228-7576.

Juried Spring Craft Fair

St. Peter's Episcopal Church is hosting this Craft Fair open to area artists, crafters, sculptors, photographers, etc.  Sorry, no corporations or catalog sellers (i.e. Avon, Tupperware, Pink Zebra, etc.)  Set up at 9:30 am, tables are $25 each or two for $40, plus a donated item for the Chinese Auction.  To be considered, please email photos (no more than five) with the subject line "Spring Fair" to secretary@stpetersashtabula.org  If you are selected you will receive a confirmation email with the registration form and remittance address.  Registration/money is due by March 10.

If you live, work, play in or near the Downtown Ashtabula area… we ask you to join us  in ...TAKING THE NEXT STEPS TO IMPROVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD. Special meeting to discuss projects that have been suggested at  Presidential Park and in the Neighborhood, to recommend for a possible grant!  Including….Parking lot improvement, Restrooms restored, Picnic area, Walking path, Bicycle Racks, Public Art Trail, Sidewalk repair, Community Center, Signage: Historical/Attractions, “Parkway” Walking Path-South Park to Presidential Park connector, and ????????
